Description
GET ACQUAINTED WITH THE PERSON OF THE HOLY SPIRIT! In this book, Dick Robinson describes how he lived the first four years of his Christian life with little knowledge of the Holy Spirit. He was in a solid evangelical church, but the leadership was afraid to teach on this subject. An elder helped him see the importance of an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit, and Dick's life changed greatly. Jesus said, "You shall do these things that I do, and even greater things." (See John 14:12.) How is this possible? It is possible because God Almighty lives inside Christians, in the Person of the Holy Spirit, and God wants to use His people to bless others and bring glory to His Name. Learn about the Holy Spirit's desire for fellowship with us, how He makes us more like Jesus, how He guides and empowers our lives, and how He uses us in supernatural ways.
Dick Robinson was raised in a non-Christian home but came to Christ at age thirty-two, in 1970, while working as a stockbroker in San Francisco. He married his wife Carrie in 1965, and they have three grown children and four grandchildren. He was ordained as a Presbyterian pastor in 1979 and served four Presbyterian churches in North Carolina and South Carolina. In 2002, Dick retired from the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, and he and his wife now live near Atlanta. During his years as a pastor, Dick ministered to people, one on one, depending upon the Holy Spirit's supernatural empowering. In his retirement, he and his wife continue to minister healing to those whom the Lord brings to their home. He has ministered inner healing and deliverance since the late 1970s and has trained many others to do so as well. His ministry is described at www.healingourhearts.org.
